Beyond the Stress Chicken Thanks to a Burnout

In 2011, I, Marca, experienced a burnout. I had been trained as a coach and had just decided to start my own practice. The burnout came as a real surprise. Deep down, I knew that I needed to address the root cause of my stress pattern. The underlying pattern that always kept me busy, never still, and always ‘busy’. Fortunately, the book “The Journey” by Brandon Bays came into my life. Less than 2 months after a weekend seminar “The Journey Intensive,” I had the energy to start running again.

The most significant eye-opener in this process was discovering that I was moving away from the emotions I was experiencing. I had been carrying grief with me for years from the death of my mother when I was 15, and my father also passed away when I was young. I thought I had already processed this.

During my coaching training, I had already worked extensively with the past. However, what I experienced during a Journey session was profoundly healing, and I decided to make this tool my own.

I have since guided hundreds of people in rediscovering themselves, tapping into their inner wisdom. I have repeatedly assisted them in letting go of old pains.

Living from acceptance, from what is possible, from trust. This is a daily practice that I am happy to support you in.

Will you join me in a loving journey within?

In my coaching sessions, I engage in deep and transformative sessions, typically lasting 2 to 3 hours each. Each coaching session is referred to as a healing journey. In a healing journey, also known as the Journey method, you connect with stored memories from your life—memories that you still carry as emotional baggage. These are memories that your inner child grapples with, and at times, you may be aware of them, while at other times, you might not.

What does this means?

These unresolved emotional experiences are stored in your cells and can eventually lead to your cells not functioning properly. The cells, in a way, become overloaded. Similar to how, with nutrition, we accumulate toxins in our bodies that our bodies don’t naturally eliminate, there are also emotions trapped in our bodies, in our cells. These are stored in cellular memory. By releasing the emotional toxins in the body, the emotional detox, the cell can return to its natural unburdened state. When the cells renew themselves, they no longer need to carry the old baggage and can fully recover.

We all store emotional baggage in our bodies, often unconsciously. It’s a protective mechanism that helps us cope with the intensity of certain events. Along with that, we store associated beliefs in our system. For example, if you lose your mother at the age of 4 in a busy store or on a crowded square, you might come to believe that places where many people gather are unsafe. This may not necessarily be a hindrance to your daily life, but it could become an issue later on. For instance, if your job requires you to attend trade shows or conferences with large crowds. You might not even know why you’re uncomfortable in those crowds, and through a healing journey, you may discover that the origin lies in the moment you lost your mother in a busy store.

You may not consciously connect the dots at the moment, but your body is incredibly intelligent and remembers. Your body is will never react without a reason to a specific trigger.”

How does this works?

In a healing journey, a Journey, you connect with the memories that are the Source of the theme you want to address. Your inner child still bears the emotional impact of these memories. Throughout the process, you are provided with various tools so that the emotional charge can be completely released, enabling forgiveness. You can trust that the memory that surfaces always touches precisely what is needed.

Additionally, each process serves as a gateway to connect with the Source, the field of energy from which everything originates. The Source also facilitates spontaneous healings, ensuring that exactly what needs to happen occurs. The Source in which everything is good, pure, and clear. From this higher perspective, from your soul and the connection with the Source, you gain insights that aid in releasing the negative charge of the event and in forgiving the individuals involved.

What influence does this have?

The negative experiences from the past are unique for everyone, shaping you into who you are today. If you sense in your heart that you’re not yet living your soul mission, not on your soul path, it could be because something from the past is still in the way.

You might have already done a lot of work to ‘process’ or ‘find a place for’ certain things. However, it often remains stored somewhere in your body. For events you’re consciously aware of, such as a parents’ divorce at a young age, losing a parent while still a child, experiencing an accident, abuse, being bullied, losing a sibling in your youth, and so on, you might know that these events still impact your life. Or, you might notice a physical reaction when you think about them. For instance, you might feel your stomach tighten or experience pressure on your chest. Or you might realize that you’re out of balance. This is a signal that something is ready to be healed.

During a session, a Journey, I guide you in connecting with your inner wisdom, the Source, and releasing the core of what is currently blocking you. It’s about what your body, your soul, your being is ready to heal.

Practical information

A session can take place in person or online. If it’s online, you ensure that you have a space where you won’t be disturbed and where you feel completely safe to let go.

You sit in a chair, and I guide you. After a brief pre-session discussion about what’s going on and the intention for the process, you close your eyes. The entire process unfolds in your inner world, and you remain in continuous contact with me. I ask you questions, and you share what’s going on inside you—what you feel, the emotions present, and what comes up for you. In essence, you are in control, and I guide you so you can connect with your Source and the memory underlying the current situation. What aligns with the intention of the process.

I ask you to reserve 3 hours in your schedule for a session. The process itself lasts between 2 and 3 hours, allowing us to delve deep.

Why does a process take so long?

In the process you first make contact with your source and the memory related to the session. Sometimes this goes faster than other times. In addition, we never know in advance what will emerge in a process. However, it is important to complete the process properly and have enough time to do so. So that there is no pressure and you feel that there really is plenty of room for you. I also always advise you not to have another appointment immediately afterwards.

How many sessions do I need?

Often, multiple sessions are needed to resolve all the old pain. In our initial conversation, we discuss what’s going on. I tune into what you want to work on, and based on that, I provide an estimated number of sessions. My experience is that this usually aligns with what needs to happen for the goals that bring you to me. However, you might sense that there is more potential for release, and you may want to do more than initially agreed upon. That’s always an option.

If the issue is well-defined, one session can bring about significant changes. However, I always recommend a minimum of 3 sessions to ensure a comprehensive and transformative experience.

How often are those sessions?

These sessions take place once every two weeks. This interval allows your body the space to process and integrate the detox process that has been initiated. Additionally, having sessions relatively close together is beneficial for continuity.

Are the sessions reimbursed?

The sessions are not covered by health insurance. If you are employed, you can explore whether your employer is willing to fund the sessions. If you are self-employed, you can categorize it as professional development or coaching expenses.

Do you also work in Englisch?

Yes indeed. I am experienced in working with people from all around the world. I have worked with people in Spain, Australia, Greece, Iceland, Sweden, UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Romania and many more

Do you also work online?

Yes, I also work with this method online. I use Zoom for the inner work. If you prefer a different tool, we will see together what works for you. If you live further away or have difficulty traveling, an intake can also be done via video calling.

I'm afraid something will come up that I don't want to look at anymore?

What emerges during a process is always an event that you are ready to face. It is a very gentle process and if you have the intention to see what is needed to tackle your ‘problem’, then you can trust that it is completely right to tackle it.

How does the payment process work?

Payment can be made in one go or in one go. You will receive an invoice for this.
If you pay per time, your benefit will be processed in the last session.

Do you also work with children?

I work with children from high school age onwards. A session with children aged 12-18 years is €95. These sessions last 1.5 hours.
